The curves of a tree branch or the patterns on a leaf — these organic forms are woven into our designs, to immerse you in the beauty of nature and evoke nostalgia from your memories of yesteryear.

Our skilled artisans take pride in their work and each design is brought to life with attention to detail and unmatched individuality: uniquely yours, just as in nature, all things are one-of-a-kind.

OUR COMMITMENT

Sustainability

By procuring sustainably sourced materials and adhering to eco-friendly practices, we ensure that every piece of furniture & homeware we create respects our environment and leaves a minimal footprint on our planet.

OUR MAIN ECO-FRIENDLY, SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS

Natural Rattan

The use of natural materials not only provides a tactile connection to nature, but also reflects our desire to work in harmony with our environment.

Rattan is a species of climbing vine that grows in the tropical rainforests, native to Southeast Asia. Its climbing nature and fast growth makes rattan a sustainable material. Unlike other trees which can take decades to reach maturity, this renewable plant only takes about five to seven years to be ready for harvest.

As it needs to grow on other trees, rattan-producers are inclined to preserve and regenerate forests. The harvesting of rattan for furniture-making thus helps to prevent deforestation.

Natural Fibres

Natural fibres such as jute, sisal and water hyacinth stalks used in our rugs and drum stools are renewable resources. These plants grow quickly and can be harvested repeatedly without depleting the soil, ensuring a continuous and sustainable supply.

They are also biodegradable at the end of their life cycle, reducing landfill waste and environmental impact.

Recyclable Synthetic Fibres

Our recyclable synthetic fibres are designed to withstand harsh outdoor conditions, including UV radiation, moisture, and temperature fluctuations. Their durability means that furniture made from these materials often have a long lifespan, and can last with proper care.

Recyclable Aluminium

Aluminium is lightweight and resistant to rust, this highly durable material is hence used to make our outdoor/weatherproof pieces. Products made from aluminium often have a long lifespan, reducing the need for frequent replacements and thereby conserving resources.

Aluminium is also a material with high recyclability (100% recyclable) without losing its properties, meaning it can be recycled indefinitely. The infrastructure for recycling aluminium is also well-established, ensuring that a substantial portion of aluminium products is reclaimed and reused.

Minimal waste
& non-toxic processes

With energy-efficient and precise material use, handcrafted goods can produce less waste than industrial manufacturing.

Traditional methods avoid harmful chemicals, resulting in cleaner production and therefore healthier products.

From nature to your home,
and back.

We know our beautifully designed wares will make you feel good at home — alongside our efforts to employ eco-conscious practices, we hope you feel even better about owning them.

DESIGN & PROCESS INNOVATION

Contemporary, improved methods

We are constantly working together with our artisans to improve our designs and experimenting with new ways of making to conserve resources.

For example, by skilfully joining selected rattan core and then moulding to form a flat smooth surface on one side, we created a sustainable technique that produces a beautiful look with less material and less waste compared to making a plank from wood.

PRODUCTION

Pre-order & lean inventory

With new product launches, we collect pre-orders to help us better estimate demand and minimise overproduction.

We maintain lean inventory levels and most of our larger products remain on pre-order for more efficient use of resources.

(Thank you for your patience with us while we do our utmost to bring your orders to you!)

PACKAGING & SHIPPING

Fully-loaded containers

We take active steps to maximise our containers for optimised fuel consumption and to reduce our carbon footprint.

Whilst ensuring each piece is well-protected to prevent damages and hence wastage, the final goods are wrapped in corrugated cardboard instead of carton boxes so that they can be stacked efficiently.
